Human Works Foundation’s RISEUP Workforce Training Program helps individuals build the skills, confidence, and credentials needed to enter or reenter the workforce. Through career-focused training and job-readiness support, participants gain practical tools to pursue meaningful employment and long-term career growth.
RISEUP supports individuals who are seeking employment, developing new skills, changing careers, or overcoming barriers to workforce participation. Participants gain access to industry-recognized credentials, career-readiness training, resume and interview preparation, career exploration, and employment support designed to help them take their next step toward a career.
Through RISEUP, participants leave with new skills, valuable credentials, increased confidence, stronger job-readiness skills, and connections to employment and community resources. Our goal is to help each participant turn training into opportunity and build a pathway toward greater economic stability and long-term success.

In partnership with our incredible social, humanitarian, and civic organizations, HWF has been able to offer sustainable vocational training to folks who need immediate placement in these high-paying green collar jobs. Through our newest partnership with iTrain and WIOA, we are thrilled to offer these career pathways!

LA RISE OCTOBER 2018 GRADUATION
RISE Up is the NRF Foundation training and credentialing program that provides foundational employability skills to help people land jobs and get promoted in retail and beyond.
Our curriculum and exams are industry-recognized and were developed in collaboration with more than twenty retailers, including Walmart, Macy’s, The Home Depot, Burlington Stores, BJs Wholesale Club and Nordstrom. And we’re proud to partner with more than 1,250 training partners across the country.
The NRF Foundation has helped more than 425,000 people earn RISE Up credentials.
